FAQs: Your Questions, Answered!
What genres do you teach?
1
I have experience in a wide range of styles. However, my expertise is mainly in musical theatre (both contemporary and classical) and pop/rock styles. I prioritize creating a foundation based in healthy singing, making meaningful progress that will last your singing lifetime. I help my students learn to balance strength and flexibility, feel confident and in control of their range, and to mix and belt tense-free.
At the end of the day, regardless of style, if your technique is solid you can do almost anything!
Do you teach online?
2
Yes! I teach online via zoom. With each booked lesson, I send out email reminders with a zoom link attached. No need to set up any links yourself. At the time of our lesson, all you have to do is show up rand be ready to sing!
Do you teach in person?
3
Currently, I offer some in person lessons in Boston and its surrounding neighborhoods. For more information, please send me an email through my Get in Touch page. There we can discuss further and figure something out together!
How should I prepare for my first lesson?
4
The best way to prepare for your first lesson is to book a free consultation with me! During our first meeting, I’ll get to know about your short and long term goals and any experience you’ve had with singing, songwriting, or playing music in general. If you’d rather get started with lessons right away please be prepared to discuss the former topics briefly and go through a vocal warm up together. Please also bring a song you’re comfortable with singing, and a song you’d like to get started working on together!
